mechanic "friend", who is actually a Nissan tech, doing some relatively simple work on my Z. Was not 3 years but a long time, finally just called a tow truck and got it out of there. Took it to a Z mechanic and had the car back in a week. Dude, cut your losses, call a tow truck and get the car done by a Z mechanic and start driving the piss out of it. What is the point of having the Z sitting getting old and you not enjoying it. Z is meant to be driven not sitting in a garage.
Needless to say I haven't talked to my mechanic "frirend" since then.
